Maxiavalanche Europe Cup 2012 Vallnord, International MTB contest in Andorra

From 22 June 2012 to 24 June 2012

Friday, saturday, sunday from 10 am

Mountain bike celebration time will be back in Andorra with La Massana stage of the 11th MaxiAvalanche Cup Europ Cup, on Friday 22nd, Saturday 23d and Sunday 24th of june 2012.

During those three days, Andorra Mountain Park Vallnord (La Massana Pal sector) will once again turn into bikers paradise. Famous and professional or amateurs, all of them will try to challenge gravity and bring MTB Enduro to its best level in a commom joyful atmosphere including : mass start, inline start, marathon downhill.

Registrations are open until june the 14th (to any rider born in 1997 and before provided they have a licence and medical form). Participation by level (MaxiAvalanche Europ Cup,  Maxiavalanche Challenger, and Maxiavalanche Amateurs). Registration fee: 50€. Less experimented riders will have the possibility to take part in the “Maxi Amateur One Day” contest (1 day, 25€).

The event will start on Friday the 22nd of june with riders registration and free practice, saturday is qualifiers day as well as the meeting at the traditional « Pasta Party » organised at the cultural centre of La Massana (Les Fontetes) ; on Sunday great final day with the races starting at 10h00 am. Start point: Pic Cubil (2.350m), arrival: La Massana centre (1.230m).
The contest is divided into three categories: professional riders, amateurs, and ladies. Among the best riders of the circuit, British athlete Dan Atherton is awaited to take part of the Andorran stage of this year Maxiavalanche Cup/ Europ Cup.
